If you need to develop or test XPath Expressions to analyse XML Documents, the XPatherizer Plugin for Notepad++ might become handy to you.

You open any XML Document you want in Notepad++ then enter the XPath Expression directly from your Brain an click Execute – the results get highlighted in the Text and a Result Treeview shows all the hits.

You can jump the the hits by doubleclicking the Results Tree.
